I got burned but it was worth it! Nick and I had a great day together!

Nick decided we would go hike at Lassen last Sat.
I was thrilled because Nick and I don't have a lot of time to go do something just for us two. Nick made that happen for us and I am so blessed.
We hiked by an old couple with there little grandkids (they must have been around 3 and 4 or 5)... that were on their way back from the hike...I am guessing that I must have had a look on my face already in the hike that was scared (because I feel so out of shape and easily tired out) because this cute little old lady says to me as they pass by...."If We can do it..YOU can do it too."
LOL
You know you better make it, when an old lady and little tot pass you by (especially while you are with your Man!!!) Good grief! =)

Guys had a football thing, so Diane and I had whats called FUN!

Me and my Diane! We got to hang out with the Men the other night! It was great fun! The guys had a foot ball thing (I will not pretend to know what the heck it was) and so Diane and I thought..."GIRLS NIGHT" we were both tired though, so we just hung low and then went shopping at Old Navy...It was great. We were not in the best shape but at least we had each other to hobble around with! (we are such old ladies ALL READY!!!) What the heck...any way...The guys had a good time too... Here are some pics of Diane clobbering her much deserving husband! LOL It was great! lol

My sweet Britt and her awesome husband Shawn are the PROUD Parents of Colton Huston Hibdon! Born 07.02.08 21 inches, 8 pounds 8.4 oz. HE IS AMAZING....AMAZING!!!!!!!!!
Being there for his first hours of air was a time spent that I will never EVER forget. Nick says that one thing that he will NEVER forget was the look on Shawn's face when we walked in. I agree however I was so eager to see that my treasure of a friend was ok! She was...as beautiful as ever but with a bundle of Joy recently placed in her arms.... and a look that no one can put into words. We love them both and fell in love with their son before he was even born, so for us...wow...it was just a JOY FILLED early morning! THANK YOU LORD!!! I will write more and put some pics up soon! I have to run for now! THANKS GOD YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! YOU ARE!!! WE PRAISE YOU!!!!!!
