Britts baby shower! This was my focus this week.

Britt is the most beautiful pregnant woman in the world. Besides my older sister and my sister in law who both look just as good the day they give birth as they did before they were pregnant!!! I only HOPE I am as fortunate!!! lol Breann Brittany's sis in law and a friend, was very involved in throwing this shower with me! We made a great team and I could not have pulled it off without her at all!!! Nick was his normal wonderful self and helped me get the house together that we had torn apart for weeks looking for my passport....(another story)..lol
Well, I am happy to say that the shower went well and we are all that much more excited for this little boy to show his face!!! It is amazing the pictures they can take now days of the baby in the womb!!! I was in awww at how crazy clear it was...you could see him sticking out his tongue and who's nose he has (which is up for debate). For sure you can see what a good looking kid he is! =)
Nick and I are sooo thrilled and proud to be a part of things with friends that we are sooo close to and love sooo dearly! To have best friends like Shawn and Britt BOTH is one of those gifts in life that I am not so sure many get to experience. It is a whole new experience and Nick keeps saying that we can watch and learn from them, figuring it out first! lol Nick!
Church has been amazing. Nick and I are finding ourselves challenged and encouraged. We feel a part of a family at our church. I know that is how it should be, but I have never REALLY felt this before. It is beautiful. Gods plans for things, are just so rich in glory, it makes you wriggle in your seat to think of how new a thing it is, and feels and looks like when it is done HIS way. I just think... "so THIS is what it means/is like/feels like..."
Thank you LORD for a church that motivates a strong marriage and family and one another in Christ.

SOOOO EXCITED! Nick and I are playing co ed softball

HOW FUN!!!!!!!!!! Nick and I are playing on a co ed softball team that our church and us decided to start, through card! There are people that do not go to our church on the team as well, random friends. It has been NOTHING short of the greatest time ever so far! Our first game was supposed to be last night, but the other team forfeited for whatever reason, so it ended up being a practise, and although we were disappointed, we still had a wonderful time practising! I have discovered in no time at all that I am extremely out of shape...I feel each game right through the week into the next..but so far even the pain just reminds me that we get to play and I get excited for it! It is sooo much fun being a part of something like this WITH my husband, on the SAME team!!!!!!! Melissa is playing with us too, and that is very cool! Mom comes to watch even our practises, which is pretty cool of HER, because last night it was COLD! Mom had a towel? wrapped around her...lol It was funny, but she didn't leave and that was the impressive part! Thanks MOm! =)
Nick and I are learning to trust God right now, through stressful times. It has been very cool. We both have really been just enjoying each other a LOT lately...sometimes life gets busy and you get stressed and you forget to enjoy what God HAS given you and each other most of all. Thank you Lord for working on our hearts and showing us how to appreciate one another more. We are so so so grateful!
