More info and GREAT news from Aunt Sonja!!! (about Grandma)

Mary celebrated her 93rd birthday this afternoon and then this evening Gary and Carole rushed her to the emergency room at Kaiser Hospital because she was having difficulty breathing and the inhalator didn't seem to help.
The first doctor who examined her said she had a severe case of pneumonia with a fever of 103 together with some congestive heart failure. He felt she would need to go on the fibrilator within the hour or she could possibly die within 24 hours. The doctor who will be her intern while at Kaiser wasn't quite so negative. He felt her main problem was congestive heart failure and that the fluids around her heart (lungs?) was giving the appearance of pneumonia. There's still a possibility Mary will go on the fibrilator until her other problems improve, but her whole health situation doesn't seem to be as critical as the first doctor led us to believe. As a matter of fact, her intern said that the tests done for her blood gases showed improvement even during the hour she was in emergency.
She's not out of the woods though. Right now Mary is in ICU at Kaiser and could use all of our prayers for God to heal her and strengthen her and bring her home again.
Thank you...thank you...thank you. I'll keep you posted on any changes in her condition.
Love,
Sonja

Please Continue To Pray

Nicholas' Grandma is a HUGE huge huge center in the family. She is a woman with great faith and strength. Today is her 94th Birthday. Grandma Mary was married to Nicks Grandpa until he passed away from a cancer in '74. She was married again to a very kind man until he also passed away in the 90's. Nick (my husbands), Mom was only 2o or 21, just starting college when her Dad died of Cancer. It was a very hard thing (of course). she was able to have another father figure for a time, but has been extremely close to her mother (as her Mom was her and her brother (uncle Gary's) only parent for the majority of their lives. Grandma Mary is truly amazing. i am so blessed to have gotten to know her personally over the last few years, she has become a Grandma to me on so much more then a married level, some of our longer and deeper chats have been ones that I will never forget and will tell our children, and her great grandchildren about for sure.Over the last year or so she has fought Breast Cancer. When she was diagnosed, was a very weary time for family, we all know how much she wants to go home but we so disparately want more time with her. She has as long as I have known her been so eager for going home (Heaven, Her REAL Home). She is ready to see her Jesus face to face. I have told Grandma on a few occasions that she MUST push on and continue to do so, with joy because she knows better then anyone, how God's timing is not like ours, and it is BEST and He has a reason (that is so clear to me) for keeping her with us. He has kept Grandma here, for her children and all of the rest of us....The time that we have had with Grandma, WE needed and will cherish always. She told me that she agreed and that her only fear was her children, grandchildren or even great grandchildren not knowing the Lord. Other then that she understood that Gods ways are so vastly better then our own, but she was definitely ready for when He would choose to bring her home. She is amazing. Her faith and her love for others is inspiring to say the very least. She is so special and has been so incredibly healthy and active her whole life! She played tennis into her later 70's!!! Even after her Cancer she was so amazingly strong. She has been loosing her sight and slowly hearing less as well.
Lately she has been even more longing for her time to see the Lord and has been in pain. Even with Grandmas heart about things, All of her family will need SOOOOOOOOOO MUCH PRAYER when that day does come...soooo much! Us kids worry greatly about our Mom and how she will handle things, even being as prepared as anyone CAN be for something this hard. I have no idea what I will do when the day comes for the Lord to take MY grandparents home...I also know that my own heart will miss Grandma Mary beyond words. Today on Grandma Marys Birthday she was being taken home by Uncle Gary. Mom had just gotten Home here (Grandma lives in Vallejo) , Grandma was not able to breath well and was taken to the hospital. They told us that Grandma has a very bad Pneumonia. It is a serious situation. I ask that you pray for our Grandma. If it is Gods will that she have more time, please pray for her healing and that she would feel better then she did before all of this. If it is His will that she come home to him soon, i ask that you would PRAY PRAY PRAY for Nicks Mom and Uncle Gary and for all the rest of her VAST family that will grieve for quite a time I am sure. I have feared the news for some time now, how I know that it will affect us all, but specifically (for me anyway) My Mother in Law and my husband. We know that as always GOD IS IN CONTROL! Please pray for us...it has been a crazy time with many hard things happening.
There is a woman that Nick and I are very close to that lives bellow us and has many medical problems and is unable to do many things for herself, we do all kinds of things, whatever we can to help her out. She is such a SWEET and DEAR woman. I have taken her to Dr. Apt and been with her in the hospital before, Nick likes to surprise her with her favorite, sushi. Her name is Jacquie and she is a very special person to us. She calls us her grandkids and encourages and loves on everyone around her! She is also in the hospital for Pneumonia and could very much use your prayers. Also, I do not have much new information about our Aunt Lona who I mentioned is in the hospital right now also, for fluids around the heart, and kidney failure. I heard that they drained the fluid and she is doing better at this point. She is also is a HUGE center, to the other side of the family! Please if you would, I know I have asked for so much prayer lately, but if you would just continue to pray....for strength through this time and also for the family involved. We ask that you just pray that Gods will be done and that we have the strength to handle this time no matter what that may be. Thank you so much, so VERY much for your loving prayers. They are heard.
Gratefully His, Moll<><

Thank you for all your prayers

Evidently Analene is doing much better now. Thank you everyone for all of your many prayers and support.
Lord Bless all of you!

I am sorry if I have seemed in any way over dramatic, I tend to be that way when I have little news and know only that someone in my family is in critical condition.
No matter what the story is, for ME, this Thanksgiving will be one that I am very GRATEFUL at...
A couple days ago I had to pray just to stay calm because my sister was in critical condition and today I am feeling the support of prayer myself even though the prayers have been for my sister...and I now, know that my sister and her new little one are going to be ok. Please continue to pray for my sister, as she and her family are far from their home and she will have a lot of recovery now. Again, I THANK you sooo much for all of your thoughts and prayers for my sister, even "I" have felt them.
God is soooooo GOOD! Please REJOICE in Him this Thanksgiving! Thank Him for all the people in your lives, their health and all the things that we daily take for granted...even that family member across the table that might just drive you crazy...Thank the Lord for even them, and love them while you can in spite of any differences or imperfections that we all have. Life is short and too dear to live the way that we tend to when it comes to people we love and little things...Lord May You Receive the Glory this Thanksgiving, because EVERY GOOD THING comes from YOU! Love you Lord.

My Sister Is In The Hospital! PLEASE PRAY!!!!!!!!

Please Please Please Pray!!! My big sister had a lot of pain last night and was taken to the hospital where they discovered that she had an Ovarian cyst that had ruptured and she had internal bleeding!! She was taken into surgery and they did what they could to fix the problem and she was given several blood transfusions...She has been out of surgery for about two hours now...She is still in pain and they are thinking that maybe there is more to it and they might have to go back in for another surgery. She is not yet in stable condidtion, so PLEASE I commission you to prayer!!!!!!! For my sister and her husband and the doctors to have wisdom and for my sisters five children who are staying with friends through this time. My sister is in North Carolina and it is so hard to be so far away when something this scary is happening. I know that my sister is in the Lords hands, but I ask that you call on Him for her health in this time. Oh Lord please have your way and if it is your will please heal my sister completely and hold her close Father!
In His Faithful arms, and more grateful then you know for each and every prayer! - Moll<><
